It was a cold morning and it's about to get colder. They are talking about a high of negative 5 or something like that. When it gets below 20 degrees, it's just cold. The number really doesn't matter anymore.

Body Surfing 11/366
January 11, 2008 -- 011/366
Friday, our last full day in Hawaii, we enjoyed by laying on the beach and body surfing. Apparently the waves were unusually large for this side of Maui, which made for perfect body surfing waves. Not too big and not too small.

The Rental 8/366
January 8, 2008 -- 008/366
Leaving Pearl Harbor, we decided to take a group shot with the Mustang Convertible rental. My camera was set up on my mini tri-pod and we had an audience while we took the shot who thought we looked hilarious.

Day 5/366
Huey tries to sneak along on our vacation to Hawaii. He must be thinking of all of the fresh fish in Hawaii. I don't know when my next post will be. We will be leaving for Hawaii tomorrow morning and won't arrive in Hawaii until midnight (central time). I hope to take lots of photos and hopefully upload while we are there. I am taking my laptop with and am hoping to find internet access.

Day 3/366
Sometime in the middle of the night on January 2, a young child wandered from his home and froze to death somewhere along this street on the 1100 block of North Jefferson. The newspaper article didn't give many details, but it was devastating to hear that the first thing this morning. Anyone with kids knows how easy something like this could happen. The temperature was about 9 degrees.

Day 2/366
My project that I have been planning to do for years is finally done - or at least 90% done. It bugs me that some of the pictures of crooked, but that can be fixed. Today I measured, my dh added hanging brackets to 11 of the frames, I hung them and printed out the pictures. I didn't think I'd even get close to finishing so I am pretty happy.
This is how I layed it out on the floor before I hung them:

Day 1/365
We finally order our couch. We looked at this one in Mankato and fell in love with it because it also had a large 54 x 54 ottoman with it. We decided to go couch shopping in Redwood Falls but nothing compared to this couch. We ended up ordering it in New Ulm. It comes with 3 pillow. We ordered it in gray with this circle pattern:
